Needlecraft Cottage offers courses in a variety of needle arts, for every level of learner. Our instructors are all avid crafters, and love nothing better than to help students as they explore the worlds of knitting, crochet, and needlepoint. If you think you're ready for a first-ever attempt to pick up a needle of any sort, or if you've been doing the same old patterns and stitches for years and want to branch out a bit, we have the class for you!

In order to keep the cost of these classes as low as possible, your entire class fee is going to the instructor. We ask that during class, you not park in front of the shop as a courtesy to the customers who will be coming and going. (You can park in the two spots in the alley behind the shop .)

Start out the year by adding three new skills to your knitting repertoire! Learn easy short-row basics, simple buttonholes, and applied i-cord edging while making this simple and attractive neck-warmer for yourself or someone you missed on your holiday list. All that's needed is one skein of Cascade Baby Alpaca Chunky or a similar-weight, neck-friendly yarn and three or four cool buttons.

Jan will teach you what you want to learn on Sunday mornings, from casting on to cables. Class sizes are limited to 4 so you get Jan's constant attention.

Nancy helps her students choose just the right thread and stitch to produce magnificent results. Students should know continental and basketweave stitches already.
